Locally a late 60s Fleetwood caravan, on a Peak Trailers chassis, has been unearthed. It's one owner from new, and has been dry stored its entire life apart from when it was used for holidays.
Is there much interest in small caravans of the late 60s/early 70s era? it looks in pretty good order to me, with its original plastic crockery, awning, windbreaker etc still inside it. The chassis wants rubbing down and repainting, and the body would benefit from a re-paint as the paint is flakey in places, but bar a few very small dings to the aluminium it's very straight indeed, and having been dry stored til yesterday it doesn't smell of damp or anything inside. It'd need a couple of tyres before it could be moved any great distance.
Does anyone here have something similar?

Photographed today at the owner's place, the interior is original and while it smells a bit "old" inside it's in pretty good nick and wants a clean and an airing. A good home is sought for it so it'll probably end up on ebay, what's something like this worth?
It'd probably suit someone looking for a cheap and different caravan to tow behind their 60s or 70s car, I think it'd be a shame if it went for the chop.

Sorry Rick was a bit behind on this one , yep Ebays the place to sell it, the van looks fairly straight these small vans are very popular at the mo
If the owner can give it a clean and get it good to tow, i would expect the van to fetch around £350 plus...... OVM |
