hi im kirsten im married to antony Smile we have 4 children and i have a little bit of a passion for rescuing things from fields, luckily my long suffering hubby is just as mad as me !!
our latest project is Annabel she is a 1969 viking fibreline a lovely little 4 birth beauty who was hiding in a field looking rather sad.
We are vw mad we have completely restored a 1972 bay window camper among other things, but this is our first vintage caravan (although we have resurrected more modern ones)
im hoping you knowledgeable group of caravan lovers will be able to help us along the way Smile
heres some pictures of so far .......
this is how we found her, this picture was taken after we dragged her home

after a quick bath

and then we started to look at how damp places were Sad the floor in front of the door, door frame and the bathroom are were the worst

but not to be defeated the floor area has been replaced, new door frame work all fitted, new batoning all replaced in the bathroom so were getting there Smile
heres her interior before we started stripping out Smile

Oh that looks lovely – and isn't it amazing what a good jet-wash can do!

Glad I'm not the only one around here with a mammoth project (and not much experience) ahead of me!

I'm excited to see how she turns out!

i have been looking at your pictures of your lovely little caravan just now i hope ypu get your windows sorted Smile
thank you she is a pretty little thing Smile we can get there i just keep researching researching researching lol .its strange because it all seems to be done backwards on a caravan unlike a car resto so its been hard getting my head around that bit but im enjoying the challenge had a little upheaval at the moment as just moved house so awaiting the driveway to be finnished so she can come home and i can work on her a little more
