Look's good got four of these all in bit's they don't look as if they could do over 100mph in racing trim do they. |

nice bike Dave, lately I find myself hankering after an old motorbike but I do not have a license and not much space to keep one, then there is the money factor, over here they ain't cheap.  |

I bought my wife a D1 last year fairly locally, all in bits, too many of some, none at all of another.
Previous owner was going to make it into a trials replica type thing, someone had cut the lug off for the toolbox etc
Undaunted, I stripped her right out, paint stripped and sand blasted the frame etc.
I had an accident with my left eye so I've had to shelve the project for a while.
I rebuilt the engine months ago and put it into a D14 frame, I have a video about 5 mins if anyone wants to see her start up finally!?
Wife enjoys revving it gently! _________________ regards, David. |
