Hi my name is chris, me and my partner decided to get a caravan for next year so we can go away with our dogs. we find it hard to get away with them as they are two boxers and can be real buggers sometimes (anyone with a boxer will understand) I then remembered that my parents have a very old safari top sterling caravan I think from eithers the 50s or 60s. it is in need of renovation as my dad started it years ago when he rescued it from being crushed, but ill health put a stop to it and it has been sat on their drive rotting ever since. we can do all the inside restoration (décor and plumbing bits in etc) but need help to get it back to a basic sound shell ready for redecorating. if anyone knows any good caravan restorers in the dorset area that could help that would be great. we are on a bit of a tight budget but as I have said we can do work ourselves to help costs. any ideas?

thanks

Hi Chris, I cannot help you, but it might be of assistance to any other members who could, if you gave a location. It would be of little use to you if they knew someone who could look/assist if they are at the other end of the country.

John.

Sorry, I have put in the Dorset area in the text, but may be not clear enough. yes we are in Dorset, so Dorset or surrounding areas would be good.

Chris - don't you start picking on me - it is bad enough dealing with the mad Welshman.
