Really good. Very much a road circuit, more like watching the TT. Modern cars would beat the pants off them but are just not very interesting. I liked the cars driving to the circuit past the bread shop and the Vanwall mechanic with a fag.

Back in 1980 I was sent to work in our company's factory in Liege for two weeks. the first weekend was Liege's 1000th anniversary and I got bumped out of the hotel that I was staying in and sent out to a small hotel in Francorchamp. The circuit was more or less exactly like it was in this video. I took a picture of my Princess at the start finish line. As you go down the start/finish straight heading for Eau Rouge the road forked at the bottom and you went left to head for Luxemburg. In 'my day' the racetrack to the right was blocked by removable bollards. I think there's a motorway from Lieage that by-passes Francorchamp heading for Luxemburg.

Good film!

Quite a lot has changed since 1955...

No fireproof overalls...
Pits just beside the rack...
..and a Brunswega machine in the time keeper's box!

Thanks for posting.

Peter

Wonderful piece of nostalgia.Especially the Mercedes high speed transporter at 9.21,and that young whippersnapper Moss chasing Fangio.
