Something Austin 10-ish about it. _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. I have written a book though. https://amzn.eu/d/7rwRRqL |

Agree with Rick. Fordson 5cwt, but the body is not original. |

Looking at where the pic is taken, is it maybe the hearse for a funeral? |

The same rather mawkish or maudlin answer occurred to me as well and I thought that the box on top of the commercial was somebody's coffin or wooden overcoat but to put it there would hardly be etiquette or "the done thing", would it?
The presence of marquees on both sides of the photo suggests a rather more light hearted event, I hope.
Mind you, North Wales funerals were/are quite grand occasions and real "ham and Bara Brith" affairs! _________________ Starting Handle Expert

Could the box on the top be a speaker? _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. I have written a book though. https://amzn.eu/d/7rwRRqL |

I'd also go for the Fordson 10cwt with home-brewed estate body; it would hardly be in good taste to leave the hearse parked up by the marque while the wake was going on
I would assume this was the old folks' annual 'do'; the Fordson was bringing the food and the Austin K8 (?) in the background the drink

...the drink..the drink??!!
I doubt it. That's a chapel and the strongest drink imbibed there or anywhere around it would have been tea or orange juice!
Even coffee was frowned upon.
Seriously though, I think the occasion could have been a local "eisteddfod" - the absence of dark clothing worn by the people outside and light coloured clothes suggests a social gathering of some sort. The absence of children in the photo is something I noted only later.
Edit.
I'll bet a fiver with anyone that the Morris Oxford belonged to the chapel's minister and the partly closed/open front door of it suggests that he was either in a hurry to arrive or anxious to leave. _________________ Starting Handle Expert

Fordson 5cwt E494C with a oddly built body. Strange rear single door whereas they usually have 2 doors. |
