and I was wincing (hope that's how it's spelt) at £500 Per Annum for dry secure alarmed gated locked new barn storage!

I have been offered a bay in a huge workshop, with use of a ramp and air lines when available, but only useable during the working day, for £40 per month.

now that's a real bargain, I think you should go for it Emmerson, and put it to use repairing / restoring that little Honda TN7 near to you while you're at it too Wink

640 square feet for £800 a year...mind you I had to provide the 2 containers that the stuff sits in Laughing Laughing works out at about £4 per week per car.

No Bl**dy fear! I've got quite enough with my Morris Traveller (untouched for about 4 years), and keeping the Range Rover LSE and Volvo 850 on the road!
The TN7 does look lonely though, as we just came past....................!

The year before last I paid a fiver a week for secure, dry storage for two pre-war cars in a barn on a farm that stored caravans.

To be fair, the OP does state 'classic cars' so perhaps that price is for a whole fleet.
