I have just noticed a Cheltenham Sable on Ebay, it has bids of £2450.00.

I just hope the bidders realise it needs a respray.

To give a caravan like this justice you really do need a good paint finish.

There is a lot of work involved in respaying a caravan properly.

If you added a conservative figure of say £1500.00 to the end bidding price you have a very expensive caravan.

We took our Cheltenham to the Rushden Cavalcade on Sunday.

You always get people asking if you would sell your caravan.

When I told them a handpainted Cheltenham Fawn had just sold for £1750.00 last week, they walked away.

Ours is fully restored with a correct windows out, trim off and doors off spray finish to the exterior.

If they thought £1750.00 was too much, what is going on with this one on Ebay.?

I totally agree!
I had a chat with the seller & it was clear from the photos & his description that it needed a respray, plus a few other bits & pieces. His price expectations were much lower than £2450. It's a bit mad.....

I will watch and see. If it hits the £3,000 mark then that is the market value for these caravans .

I should offer mine to the unlucky second bidder.!!!

Well mine has been restored and resprayed. I would not accept a penny less than 3K as a distress sale!
