A lovely weekend for this, predicted dry weather actually appeared and it got quite sunny on Sunday, leading to a very busy show both in terms of exhibitors and visitors. Unusually for me as it's very much a hobby of mine, I didn't take many photos of the weekend, though I did take advantage of a different viewpoint.
Joint DSG and Viva Owners Club stand had 3 HP Firenzas and a HS Chevette over the weekend, along with a selection of HA, HB and HC Vivas, including an immaculate HA Van.
SCCCC stand was busy and in a nice spot, with two club members winning prizes on the Sunday.
Some other views from around the show:

Hi
Were they selling rides in the cherry picker?
I take it it was the one seen from ground level in the Capri shot. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Looks like some clubs had plenty of space and others were cheek by joule.
Is space a premium at this venue.?
Must admit I have not attended this event before.

Yes, and yes. I saw it and was going over to ask whether they'd take me up in it, then noticed the sign for £2.50 a go, a bargain. Must have been popular, it was £3 on Sunday.
I hate heights, don't like going up stepladders usually, but I have to say it was a very smooth ride. I laid it on a bit thick about how nervous of heights I am, and the operator took that into account I think. It was a company that hires them out. |

Yes, space is very much at a premium here - the organiser always makes a note of clubs who apply for a lot of space and then don't fill it, then next year you get airline-style space allocation. We've been guilty of it (in both my clubs) in the past, and have worked at it for quite a few years to get back to a decent space allocation, but it's never enough.
Those photos were on Saturday, and it's never as busy as Sunday. The Jensen club were busier on Sunday, and there is some give-and-take with neighbours helping each other out where necessary. |
