Collectors of Morgan-related goodies take note Smile

----------------------

Hi,

I wonder if you can help. We are in the process of making a new BBC2 series called The Great Antiques Map of Britain and we are looking for potential contributors who are interested in Morgan Motors to take part, we will be filming in Worcester on the 20th July. If there was any way you could help us reach out to people who might be interested in sharing any Morgan Motors antiques that would be fantastic, such as posting this message on your forum would be fantastic.

During the series the presenter will be embarking on a nationwide journey to discover the people, the places, the antiquities and the collectables that tell the story of Great Britain. With his airstream doubling as an antiques valuation centre – he will visit the hotspots of British arts and antiques, from large festivals to local markets. From Glasgow with its Clutha Glass, to Bristol’s Fry’s Chocolate and Worcester’s Royal Porcelain; each location will provide a wealth of historical take out as the presenter visits key sites related to the items.

We would like to speak to people prior to filming who might have an antique or collectable connected to Morgan Motors, for example Morgan Motor memorabilia, a Morgan Motor component, that would be fantastic.

Will any of the items have a life-changing value for the owners? And will Tim find any fabulous survivors of the region’s antique heritage amongst the offerings? These journeys will take us through the process of the creation of the artworks and antiquities revealing the fascinating human, industrial and social history of Britain.

If there was any way you could please help spread the word about the Morgan Motors item, that would be fantastic. To contact the research team you can call: 0117 9742369 or email Great.Antiquesmap@bbc.co.uk

Many thanks.
