While drying out parts that got wet, when the container they where in suffered rain water ingress, I came across the above item.
Age and treatment has made the old memory refuse all attempts at persuading it to co-operate and release details of what it is and/or used for etc.

It could be for any of my three classics.

Geoff - Waiting in anticipation Very Happy

Hi Geoff,

I agree with Mike on the black part but I think chrome knob is unrelated except that it happens to use the same screw thread.

If the chrome knob doesn't show the threaded hole on the face on the right side of the photo then I suggest it is a switch knob or a glove box knob.

Peter

Thanks Mike & Peter.
Do like the dash Peter. What car?
No hole in the face of the chrome knob.

Solomorris,
More details please.

Thanks solomorris.
The second link jarred the memory banks a little.
There was something at the back of my mind trying to get attention about just that.
Bought the item when I planned to turbo the Spriget engined A35.

Geoff - Getting one car done, at my rate, will satisfy me right now though.
