Been a while since my last post, the austin is now on the road, the v5 has now had the body type changed to pick up, still got the interior to sort out & need to get it sign written. Have collected 3 vespa scooters for customers so far, its now starting to earn its keep, first couple of trips have been entertaining, getting use to the gears, doesn't like hills much, core plug decided it had had enough, regulator decided it didn't want to work, took it off cleaned & adjusted it, seems to work now, amazing really its dated oct 52.

Nice work, and a good way to save a car, that might have gone to the scrappers.

The pick up is currently off the road at present, have been driving it daily with no problems, started to lack power & developed a miss fire, turned out to be the head gasket gone. Removed the head to find the block & head have damage between 2 & 3 cylinders, could have the block & head skimmed but would like a bit more power so looking at fitting a 1500 or 1622 b series engine. Does anyone know which would be the easier swap.
