To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Forth Rail Bridge earlier this week there was a fly past of a Typhoon (modern) and a Spitfire. I didn't witness it but I was puzzled by the lack radiator and oil cooler when I looked at some pictures taken by a friend.

It was a 0.8 scale model!

Certainly at first glance the wing shape is definitely spitfire, but under closer examination, you are right about the oil cooler and radiator, but also the engine nacelle, and front profile are close, but not quite there.

Peter, I think that may be an Enstone MK26. A Spitfire kit to 80% scale.
I saw one at a PFA meeting in Kemble a couple of years ago. That one was a 2 seater and had a V12 Jag engine.
