Hi to you all
I seems that finding any thing about old dodges in the UK seems to be hard work here in the UK. So I have searched for a UK forum on google and you guys seem to be the mainly the only one that comes up.
I'm hoping that you guys can help me with your knowledge and wisdom.
Brief insight to what I have:
My fathering law is friends with a guy that owns a company that fits out debenhams. A couple of years ago i noticed a 1950's Dodge power wagon in this guys wear house. I asked him what he was doing with it and he told me for a rainy day. This vehicle had been used for a jeans display! So their is no engine, gear box etc etc. (cut a long story short) I have just come back from a holiday and my fathering law said I have a suprise for you in your garage!!! It was a suprise as I found this vehicle now parked in my garage.
So I'm hoping that I can come to this forum and pick your brains on where to get parts etc etc...
I will stick some photo's up of it soon
Kind Regards
Paul |

| Zoggie, I just happen to have access to loads of Power Wagon parts, mostly for the military version (M37) and not the W version which I guess you have. Post some details so that I can identify the exact year and model. A photo of yours would help. |

| Oops!, I forgot. If yours looks like the picture, then what you have is not a Power Wagon, but a Dodge Stepside. |

| If it is a Stepside, then it will be 2 wheel drive, and probably have a straight six in it. Power Wagons were 4WD, and the best pickups ever made! At least, if you prefer your coffee made over a camp fire, and not in one of these places where its possible to buy any sort of coffee with a fancy name! |

Yup, its a Stepside. Looks to me like late 40´s, early 50´s.
It doesn´t look like it needs too much work either, so congratulations are in order! Get it finished, and it will be a very nice motor. Are you planning on an original or custom restoration? |

I´ll have to agree with you there buzzy, although considering what I did yesterday, I should keep my mouth shut!
One thing though. I suspect that the rear axle isn´t original, and the wheels definately aren´t! |
