I don't mean in your classic car but in your daily transport be it a car, commercial vehicle or motorbike.
The highest mileage I did in one year was 27,000 miles but that must be modest compared to many of you.

The highest mileage driver I have met was the representative of the firm from which we ordered a new kitchen five years ago.
He had left his home in Bletchley at 6am and arrived with us at 10.00am.
(177) miles).

He left us just before Midday for another appointment in Burnley at 2.30 pm.
(126 miles) and he told me that he hoped to be home in Bletchley in time for dinner by 7.00pm (192 miles)

495 miles in one day.

He did such journeys normally for four days a week averaging 2000 miles a week and an annual mileage of between 95000 to 107000 miles every year.
His vehicle was a diesel Volkswagen Passat which was serviced on schedule but with two cambelt changes every year. The Passat was changed every two years at around 200k miles and he would buy the "old" one for little money to act as the family car for two years until the next change.

I enjoy driving but doubt if I would covering that mileage every year.

I used to be a 'volunteer driver' for a charity providing transport for social services patrons. I did it for 3 years and gave up 9 years ago. My original Octavia had 15,000 miles on the clock when I started. 18 months later the gearbox went at 92,000. I bought an ex demonstrator Octavia with 8,000 miles on and when I gave up the 'job' 18 months after that it had covered 95,000. All those miles were done within a 20 mile radius of Durham City, mainly back roads. In recompense we received 39p a mile. Not a viable proposition with current fuel costs, were responsible for our own repairs, had to keep the car immaculately clean, and were subject to random scrutiny every few weeks.
Now I am lucky if I cover 2000 miles a year.

When I was a service engineer , my patch was anything north of Oxford up to the Scottish borders, and I would average 1200 miles a week. Our cars were then changed at 60,000 miles so I got a new car every year Smile
I had also managed to sync my car change with the then annual registration letter change in August.

I recall getting some new tyres on my then 10 month old Astra GTE, as it was leased the tyre shop need the correct current mileage to get paid, a young lad was sent out to read the odometer, went back in to tell the chap entering all the details that it was 52,772 I heard his boss say something to the effect of "go back and read it properly its only a G (current) plate, it will delay payment if we get it wrong" so back he came back read it again, went back in and got more verbal from his boss , who came out to read it himself...and had to go back and apologise to the young lad !
