What music do you play in your car. Do you play music relavent to the age of your car. It will be difficult in an older car as some didnt even have radios never mind cassette players. I dont like to see CD players fitted to older cars, it just isnt right. The only way in an older car would be the old style portable cassette player. What do you play in your classic? _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

If it were a radio I guess I'd want it to be able to receive the type of music played on the likes of:
http://radiodismuke.radio.net/
I did try using a (near) period radio in my car but kept scratching my knuckles on it when gear changing and given that all it received was medium and long wave stations I took it out again.
I can't see me arranging to receive internet radio stations like that above so if I did anything it would be with a concealed MP3 player.

I use the temperamental OE L.M Radio-mobile in the 1961 P4 and the equally temperamental Sharpe 1980's FM stereo cassette in the 1972 P5B (not OEM)
The Land Rovers are too noisy for anything unless stationery which is increasingly more frequent in traffic jams and my wife's 1968 Mini has a cassette player that is not any where near HiFi though it is stereo. The 1938 Rover 16 needs nothing its engine and gearbox noises are more than sufficient _________________ Rover P2
