|
|
Hey all.
I'm looking for a valuation (or a nudge in the right direction) on a Lancia Flavia project, that my dad has.
Its a 1964 1800cc Flavia Pininfarina, Right hand drive.
Probably 95% of the parts are there. The car body itself has been fully welded and and primed for painting.
The engine is fitted and turned over.
All it needs is some paint and putting back together.
Reason for sale; he's just got too much on to put the time to this.
Any help or pointing towards the right places for answers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark |

Lancia values are very difficult to quantify - the make is sufficiently obscure these days that many people will avoid a car which is such an unknown quantity. Find the right buyer who knows what he is looking at, and you might get a good price; put it on eBay and it will probably go for a song!
There is a nice Pininfarina coupe which has been on the market for at least a couple of years now - it is not selling at around £15,000. Restoration projects will sell for only a few hundred pounds; your dad's car may be worth a couple of thousand pounds if the work has been well done, and can be seen to have been well done. Is the interior trim in good condition? Does it have its original British registration number? There are lots of things which could influence its value,up or down! I would suggest the Lancia Motor Club is the best avenue for reaching a suitable market. |

Sorry for the lateness in replying to this thread!
I've popped round to take a few photos of the car
The car is on British plates, it has the log book, reciepts for works and parts etc.
As my dad is away for a few day's, I couldn't directly ask him what actually is missing.
But after having a root around in the boxes, all the chrome work is present, front grill, badges, lights, levers, glass in doors and car, wing mirrors...
And some more in the album found here:
