Hi all,
The VSCC returned to Oulton Park after an absence of some five years over the weekend just gone. Racing on the circuit took place on Saturday, with Sunday (which had free gate entry to all) was labelled as a families' day. The latter saw cars competing in the Autosolo, which was a simplified version of an Autotest, followed later by demonstrations of off-road vintage trialling, and a concours competition.
All in all, a jolly pleasant way to spend a couple of days. Hopefully this meeting will be repeated in 2016.
A highlight of the racing on Saturday was a great dice between three ERAs at the head of one particular race. Hopefully a few more cars of that ilk, and their owners, will be tempted out of their workshops to Oulton in 2016.
In addition to the concours and the racing, there was a pre-war parking area, and a number of club displays where interesting vehicles - vintage and later classics - were to be found.
Many photos were taken, so I've split them into two batches. Here are the first 75 ...
The second batch of 75 photos may now be found here:

Luvverly picks,Rick.
I'm always amazed at the bravery of drivers in the vintage classes. They go hard at it,considering the fragile wire wheels and probably less than brilliant brakes on these cars.
I doff my cap to these gents |

A proper old car event and not one where it's difficult to tell the difference between the exhibits and the public car park. It's just a pity that it has become such a deep pocket province.
Very nice to see the photos though.
