This is slightly on-topic, as it relates to a few DVDs that I have with motoring content on them.

Basically: I have a few self-recorded DVDs, recorded on our old DVD-VHS player/recorder, but are not yet finalised. The DVD machine has now packed up. If I buy an identical machine, will I be able to finalise the DVDs on it? Thus enabling me to play the DVDs on other machines, the PC etc.
