Hi Everybody,
Can anyone tell me please what type of thread is on the brass nut which takes the brass olive at the end of the steering stator tube at the steering box of the1946 Austin Eight and from where I can purchase one in UK?

You could try your local plumbers merchants and ask for a 3/8 BSP compression fitting. Don't accept a metric fitting. It will cost you about 2 quid.
