Hi
A couple of things I noticed in those films.
1st film
The clutch appeared to have cork type inserts rather than a disc like I have always seen on cars. Was it an oil bath type like motorcycles.
2nd film
I didn't realise that monocoque type construction, rather than separate chassis, came to cars that early. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

The reason for the cork clutch was they couldn't keep the oil out on the Continental engines, so they solved it with a wet clutch. Also helps with the lubrication on the dynamometer.
