Hello

Just arrived here and I'm hoping someone will be able to help. I've got a photo of a really cool, streamlined 1930s delivery van which I cannot identify. Unfortunately I don't have the URL where it appeared as it was sent by a friend who cannot remember where he found it, and there doesn't seem to be a function on this forum to upload images from the desktop.

So, I'll have to give a description and vainly hope it rings a bell with someone.

The van is British (well, the driver's door is on RH side) about 3m high (judging by the height of someone next to it and cleaning it), hard to guess the length as it's taken at an oblique angle but about 6-7m, has a split windscreen and a large curved chrome grill. In fact, everything screams curves from the overall shape to the lines. There is a name printed on the side but I can;t make it out, other than the letters Ltd. at the end. The vehicle's registration number is AUU 602, if that helps at all.

Do your best!

The bodywork is by Holland Coachcraft of Glasgow, and it is probably a Commer chassis that is hiding underneath. Dinky Toys made a model of one prewar and Brooklin have recently produced one too.
