Lovely!
Wild bird numbers are low again in my area this year - no siskins, coal tits, marsh or willow tits, wrens but at least there are bats nesting under the eaves. _________________ Starting Handle Expert

We are also noticing that there are fewer migrating birds. Probably all been shot down over Malta. |

Hi Rick, by the yellow beaks, they look like Blackbirds, not Robins. Robin has a short black beak. Plenty of both here but lots of birds not around. Have a Robin which sits on the back of the tractor when I'm cutting grass, hopping off to pick up whatever morsel I uncover & then catches up to sit again - no fear of the noise, cheers,JD. _________________ 1958 Ford Zephyr Mk2 Convertible

Could be. I see an adult Robin flying in and out of the garage all day, close to where this is, but perhaps she is flying to another nest!!!

I have the same problem. Currently 2/3rds of the way through a complete restoration of a 1958 S1 Land-Rover in an open fronted cart shed and now that the swallows have started nesting, by the time I have uncovered everything, it's time to put it all away again. The previous owner of the property used to break up the nests to prevent the swallows making such a mess and it's taken several years to entice them back again, so only myself to blame!
Strange that this should be my first post here - I've been lurking for a while - so I will introduce myself in due course.
Cheers
