Evening All,
I am looking for any information about who David Brown & son (Huddersfield would have supplied rear axles to ?
long before DBs made tractors they made gearbox's and axles and even made a car of their own. They made a worm drive gearing and I have a FJ type worm drive rear axle made by DBs, made around 100 years ago but I am struggling to get any info about who DB would have made it for ?
I have contacted David Brown & Son but got no joy
I would be very grateful for any information
Cheers Steve |

You're welcome.
My father worked at David Brown (Penistone) during WWII. After he sold his business in the 1970's he went back, strangely enough to the same vertical lathe he was on in WWII. |
