(expletive deleted).
It sits at the side of the highway in Northern New Brunswick. Not that many people know it's there because there aren't that many people here, even if one counts everyone twice. Many don't see it because their eyes are fixed to their cell phone to see which Facebook friend just went shopping, or something equally exciting.
Short version is. The city who owns it doesn't want it. (no money). Some folk in another city want it, but no money. Another city has the money but they don't want it. An Australian wants it but can't have it until those who don't want it can decide if it is OK to give it to someone who does want it but isn't a Canadian. If he was Canadian he could have it but being Canadian it is likely he doesn't want it but if he did he wouldn't have the money.
Does that explain why my post starts "Expletive deleted"

Can I add my name to the list of those who want it but have no money!? It does seem to be of a bit daft situation.
Couldn`t they just lend it to the Ozzy on a very long term basis> everybody gets what they want and Canadian honour (or should that be "honor" for North Americans?) is safe. |

Hello Dipster. In Canada it is "Honour" just as it is still "Cheque" but "Tire" and not often "Tyre". Simple really. |

Work has started on dismantling the aircraft prior to the move to Trenton Ontario
Personally I think it is better restored regardless of location and it has long been obvious that there was not the finances, skills or facilities in New Brunswick.

At least its some positive news about the restoration, 2024 is a long way off for completion but there will be huge amounts of work to do. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
