A very close friend of mine (now 94 years old) trained in the USA and Canada with the RAF and ended the war flying Catalina's in the Middle East. I hope to get hold of his Flight Log and write about his training and flying.

I used to work with an old chap called Tony Cass who flew them in the war. He didn't have a very good war and hardly ever spoke about it. |

We saw a Catalina on Sunday at the Weston S Mare air day, lovely old plane and such a slow beast too. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
