Hi
It says it is destined for Brooklands
It is only 26 miles or so, but that could be another Monster Moves prog.
Shifting a VC 10 by road is a lot more difficult than a Canberra or a Gannet which they have already done. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

It is sad to see that the VC10 has ceased flying. I live under the flight path to Birmingham Airport and a RAF VC10 used to go there during the last few years. It was the sound that you noticed first and what a noise it was. Great to see it go overhead but unfortunately it meant that it was carrying a number of wounded servicemen being taken from Afghanistan to Hospital. _________________ Keep Torqueing,

Look at all the airport Karriers. It seems every airport had them and lots of them too. Imagine if Rootes would have survived. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Apart from flying in a Chipmunk whilst in the A.T.C. the V.C.10 was the first aircraft I flew in taking me out to Tengah Singapore in 1968.
