Following on from Rick's 'Regrets' thread, I wonder how many of us have been to a show and been drawn to a car (other than the one we've already got) and thought, 'Yes, I'd exchange my car for one of those.'
Or wouldn't you consider an alternative at any price?
Any thoughts on a (reasonably practical) swap that might appeal to you?
And why? _________________ 1953 Citroen Traction

No. Because when it came to choosing cars, I am quite methodical. I want to make sure to get just the right type and model.
Examples - TR4, not the TR4a or 3
Interceptor - series 1 not a later series
CX - series one with fuel injection and automatic
etc
even our current "modern" has been chosen carefully _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |

I think the old proverb applies, "Better the devil you know……"

Its weird being the same age as old people.
You are either part of the problem or part of the solution |

Contrary to the previous posts ... yes, all the time! I tend not to keep my cars for any great length of time - probably five years is the average - because there's always something new and different to experience. Only last night I was at a gathering and eyeing up possible exchanges for my Lancia! _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline

I think any sort of thoughts regarding swapping, would [for me] focus on the 'sellability' of the other vehicle?
thus far, my runners are eminently sellable, should the need for funds arise.....[The Dellow I would only sell if I could no longer drive it]...
The rest of my wrecks are slowly being re-done...after a fashion, to suit my personal needs....spit 'n polish not being one of them. _________________ Dellow Mk2, 1951 built, reg 1952.
