I have just seen a beautiful car for sale, one that we have always sought after. We neither have the available space or cash, we could slim down some of the projects??
I always regret selling but in some cases if the 'other' vehicle were worth it would you do it? _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I might be tempted...but the new motor would need to be a fraction of the value of anything I'd sell.....doubtless I'd need the funds to rectify the new acquisition....
I'd like a Ford model Y, however....preferably a short rad.... _________________ Dellow Mk2, 1951 built, reg 1952.

I have broached the subject with the wife tonight, as has been the case over the years with everything like this, she has seen positives.
She would rather us not sell anything though, use some of our savings and treat it as an investment. That might be the way to look at it. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Good for you!
Problem is that for many cars there is no real upward trend....
But the positive is that when you are careful you will not loose money, and be able to enjoy your car (money). If it is in a savings deposits where is the fun? _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |

My wife has always been supportive of my hobby, even making mini breaks out of looking at lorries hundreds of miles away! _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
