Is it just me, or are there any others on the forum that think that Haynes manuals have become rubbish over the past few years?
I was looking at one yesterday, there are so many mistakes in it, its unbelievable....I dont remember the old ones that I have being so bad... |

I bought the Haynes Sex Manual....
A few mistakes in there, but only if you bowl from the pavillion end!
I'll have to dig it out & post it up. _________________ Don't run your fingers over my truck & I won't run my truck over your fingers!

Hi
Back in the days when I worked on my daily drivers, before I had to have moderns for the business, I used to get the Olyslager Manuals and I felt they were great for everything I did. |

Now theres a manual I've never thought of for ages.... I wonder how many of the younger ones on the forum have even heard of them?
Are they still available? |

Which for no particular reason reminds me of the Castrol lubrication charts... whatever happened to them, I wonder? |

Hi
I have had to say yes, because I am not keen on a few things with Haynes, one my mini one says nothingabout my imobiliser andalarm, whether this is to keep the theivesone step behind, but it isdamn awkward when things go wrong!
On the other hand the info may be in there, but I find there contents and index a shambles, why not just have one normal index, instead they seem to have silly 1 point 4, 5 point 6 etc.
Well anyway thet is my view!
Cheers
Dave |
