Hi
I know it isn't old, biut I saw this on the M6 near Walsall around 7:30-8:00 this morning, dazzle paintwork obvious only difference was what looked like the framework for a camera or instrument mount on the roof. It carries a V prefix reg, unless there was another later after the V which I missed but I'm sure it was V followed by 3 numbers.

Interesting, I think I spotted a test Aston Martin last week. The paintwork looked fairly normal but where there'd normally be a rear window, there was a painted panel with just a tiny slot for the driver to look through.

Not a car but we visited a friend this morning and he was stripping a crawler ready to be restored, he likes his tractors and such like. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Hi
Saw this nice XK 140 on Trowell Services today.
Registration is Glasgow or (Govan) 1960 according to the main site but it has an Aintree 1957 Grand Prix sticker on that N/S rear quarter light
Not sure about the "Cobra" in the background _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Passed a wonderful 1930's Caravan being towed behind a Transit van this morning. Looked well restored, on first thought it may have been a Winchester but I am no expert. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Hi
I saw this A35 while getting a splash of fuel today.
On the A65 at Ingleton, it has a for sale notice with a mobile number which you might be able to decipher if interested.
There is also a Rolls there for sale, just visible through the windscreen of the top picture, and what is that blue tractor just left of the building?
I didn't notice it when taking the pics. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

It looks like someone has made a tractor into a steam engine! _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Hmmmm! Thinking back, any rolling I've ever done has been far from sedate...!
In fact, usually accompanied by total panic, a flurry of arms and legs, and total loss of dignity! _________________ Dellow Mk2, 1951 built, reg 1952.

Just going on that picture I'd hazard a guess it was for one of those "land trains" you sometimes see. |
