As a new Morris 8 restorer I am experiencing a few problems which I hope someone can help with.
I have posted one of these in the Mechanical forum - basically I am wanting detailed photos of the cable part of the throttle; the bracket mount for the cable on the steering column and the mount at the carburetor end of the cable.
I am also looking for a source for the rubber wearing pads that are fitted to the leading edge of the rear guards. They are simply unavailable, new or second hand, in Australia. I am hoping someone has a pair they would consider selling or can suggest a commercial source for them. I could use plain rubber but would prefer the ribbed form of the original.

Hi Ron
I'd try the MR forum for a photo of the throttle assembly, someone will have a car they can get a photo from.
Re the rear wing protectors, unfortunately original ones are as common as hens teeth and even if you do find some NOS they are going to be at least 50 years old and quite possibly brittle. For ref the part numbers are 84671 (RH) 84672 (LH)
Most folk in the UK simply fabricate them out of ribbed rubber sheeting. If a good pattern was available I' get a batch made for the MR Spares Service
