|
|
I am writing an article about the special builders craze of the 50's when it was possible to get an Ford 8/10 (or Austin 7) chassis from a breakers yard. Clean it up: modify the chassis (and possibly tune the engine) and then mount a fibre glass body on it. The basis of the article is in an old copy of the 'Practical Motorist'; I have plenty of material and old ads. of the bodies sold at that time but what I'm looking for is information on L.M.Bellamy suspension products and Aquaplane tuning equipment or any other special build suppliers from those far off days.
Can anyone help?
Thank you,
RogerB |

I think it was Leslie Ballamy, not Bellamy? _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline
