Garages lend themselves to all manner of interesting bits and bobs to have on show, not necessarily car-related.

I found this framed magazine with BB on its cover many years ago, and it seemed only right and proper to have it on display rather than hidden in a box.

Do you have any signs, posters, or other eye-catching oddments that aren't car-related, hanging up in your shed/garage/car-port etc???

Perhaps the wrong form of transport but I just love the graphics commissioned by Frank Pick not to mention the design of this particular station.

Bought at Beaulieu Autojumble some years ago.

Did your sign originate from that station in particular?

Before my Grandfather went into being a scrap dealer and owning his own small yard he worked for many years digging peat and supplying logs. He used a little Fordson 7V lorry that I do have a picture of.

In my shed I have the sign that used to hang on the yard gates stating what he bought / sold / supplied and the old tel number etc.

Yes, I believe it's a genuine old sign from a station refurb.

An old school poster from the county I was born in, and a tour poster from the late 80s which was a very good show.

Garfield posters I got in the early eighties.
Two original posters that used to hang in a workshop in the early sixties. I like the colourful graphics and the old fashioned way they reminded us how to behave.

Poster of the Cure of an 80s show I visited.

I hope you've found Geoff Marshall's offerings on YouTube, this is just one of many:

In particular, the outer reaches of the Met, Northern & Bakerloo lines.

Thanks for that Mike. There used to a BR shop (warehouse) next to Euston Station that sold off loads of signs. I still have a few in my loft.

Like Arnos Grove, Geoff Marshall's favourite station Sudbury Town was also designed by Charles Holden. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHtvw9g210s

"Collectors Corner" - I remember it well.
I think you have quite an investment in your loft!
