Back in 1965, newly married, and unable to afford a car I was delighted when I acquired a new Ford Anglia as my company car, and with it I was given enough Green Shield stamps to fit it with a radio, wheel trims and seat covers! |

Having a sort out of the shed now our Karrier has gone to a nee home and I found an old brown envelope tucked away in a box.
It has brand nee 'For Sale' and 'Sold' windscreen signs from when my Grandfather sold decent cars that came into his scrapyard.
I will take some pics but by the looks of it the 1960's plastic sticker type signs have all stuck together over time. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
