Thanks for the suggestions. I will not need them now but it is good to know and learn.
I have bought not the XJS in the first post but another one in slightly better condition for less money. Very happy

My old 1987 Range Rover lost its clear coat in places. The local bodyshop did a good job on it. I have even done patches myself using rattle cans. Its not difficult. Fine wet and dry paper will give new stuff a key base. |
