For some reason, Edwardian cars are a favourite of mine - I think it's a combination of the fact they look great with the different shapes and style of radiators, the fantastic coachwork, and the atmosphere of the era that interests me as well as WWI. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good places to see Edwardian vehicles? The obvious ones are Beaulieu (haven't been there yet), Coventry which has a fantastic collection and the Motor Heritage Centre at Gaydon, where i'm off to tomorrow. Also seen them at Brooklands and you tend to get a few racing versions at VSCC events. Anyone know of any others, or fancies sharing a few pics of them? I particularly like the Maudslays and Humbers, although unfortunately lost my photos of the ones at Coventry

Hi

I have to go to bed now, but yeah I can ramble on for a while when I have time! hehe

I have lots of books with pictures if you want me to scan a few in, I am sure I could probably find pics/info on pretty much any veteran/Edwardian car within reason, Well i will have a damn good go anyway!

The one place you want to get to is the Brighton, although this year has just gone.

I will send you a pm too in a few days on this subject, if you hear nothing, remind me on.

Cheers

Dave

Cheers - do you mean the London - Brighton run? Went to it this year at the London end, be good if they did a 1904 onwards one as well!
