Was it a red one? Chap in our club has a red one, I was parked next to it at Hankelow last year. |

That takes me back. My best mate in the 6th form had a BSA M21 combo. That was the primitive 600 cc side valve. Ex Army, I believe. It had a huge family size sidecar in which I had to suffer for mile after mile. I would have preferred to ride pillion but my mate needed the ballast for left handers - or so he said. It was most uncomfortable but truly exhilarating. I thought it was quite safe; until the sidecar wheel collapsed! |

I passed a 30' hotrod Ford this morning, very nice too. It was towing what appeared to be a homemade tiny caravan _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

A few from what for the first time this year was actually an interesting monthly meet and not just a line of Porsches. Let's start with this funny thing based on 2CV mechanics:-
A delightful 1800ES:_
GT6, MGB's and Alpines:-
I don't know how long since i have seen one of these:-
A couple of great Kwackers:-
Even several Honda sixes:-
Interesting Talbot and 2CV:-
Even some americana:-

There is just something about fifties convertibles I love. My sister had a 1956 minx convertible in maroon beautiful car. _________________ old tourer

I know! I've changed the photos here on my computer to upside down, and they come out upside down, but those two look right on my screen but are inverted by Thumbsnap. If anyone can change them good luck! |

Passed a very brightly orange painted MGB on my way in this morning, not my ideal colour of car by any means! _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
