Scenes of utter destruction. Several MG cars destroyed.
I have been passed these photos from someone who says XPAG developments (Peter Edney) is no longer in business.

I am not in a position to confirm anything at this time as details of the fire are scarce.
Not good.

That looks heartbreaking. This must be very recent since a google search comes up with not one reference at all as yet. Nothing on either MG club too. On the farm's Facebook page they only mention that the fire killed a number of animals. I'm sure more will emerge as time goes by.

Can't find any info except for the Farm fire, which is nasty enough...
Strange thing though, and I may be wrong, but for some niggling reason I seem to think I have seen those photos before... could be just my age, I blame that and COVID for everything... |

Like I said... I have no more information than these photos which were sent via email from a customer of Peter Edney. He was apparently told by Peter that there had been a fire and he was out of business. The photos it would seem were later sent to him by Steve Baker (another MG specialist). There is no question that the premises is that of XPAG developments...but in case anyone thinks that is my P38 just in the first picture I can assure them it is not.
Peter rebuilt my TC engine a while back but I have never visited his place. |

I have just received a courteous email from Peter Edney. He is resolved to rebuild the business in new premises.
I admire his fortitude. Pretty sure I would have thrown in the towel. |

Very sad to see these pictures. I don’t know Peter but I feel very sorry for him, and hope he will be able to rebuild his business.
Sad if (presumably) customers lost their cars in this fire. _________________ Richard Hughes |

It is sad that one of the rarest of T types - a TB - has been lost. Other casualties include a couple of race cars including Peter's own TC. I have been trying to identify the remains but there is so much damage...... |

Unfortunately, there seems to be no clear statement from anyone as to the cause. |
