Now, we have to remove these from our 42 Commer as there is a leak on one of the seals.

We removed and replaced the ones similar on our 1950 Commer but that was best part of 10 years ago, for the life of me I cannot remember how to remove them? They are fitted on the back plates so you don't actually remove the hubs, I have a recollection of having to unscrew the brake rod that comes out of the cylinder, that should then allow the cylinder to be withdrawn from the back plate, but not sure.

I probably have photos of the process from the other Commer, we kept a very good record of that when we did it.
