I was a regular poster a few years ago. Sadly arthritis took hold and I had to engage in more sedentary pursuits.
I still have the Austin 7 Special, and the 39. Square 4. I occasionally use the Austin but am no longer a biker.
I mentioned sedentary pursuits. The main one I took up was writing. At 84 I have just published my first book on Amazon.
It is partly humorous biographical, but has chapters on the old cars and motorcycles I owned, as well as fishing, model aircraft, and the blitz in London and Kent. From a childs point of view.
It's called Town and Country Boy, by Donald Munnings. And is available both in Kindle and paperback form on Amazon.

Hope it's ok to make this shameless plug for my book Richard?😁

Many thanks for your good wishes chaps. I shall try to post regularly again.
Increasing deafness had almost robbed me of my social life. However, state-of-the-art hearing aid technology has brought me back to the human race recently... all it took was money. Problem is: Those engines really sound rough now. Very Happy

My wife wants to know what make and model of hearing aid you have bought.

(It's a serious question.)

Thanks,

Peter

Signia, Pure C&G AX. They are expensive though.

I previously had NHS ones, but after trying for two days I could not get in touch with anyone at the audio' department to discuss my problems.

I didn't want to spend my last years sitting quietly in the corner wondering what was going on, so it's worth every penny.😁

Its weird being the same age as old people.
You are either part of the problem or part of the solution

It sounds like a wonderful book, something that would interest many of us here on this forum. Well done.
