Looks in good shape but I don't think I could live with the two paint colours. One or other but not both.

Nice interior but these too red / almost purple overmats needs to go.
Would be better in one colour as Peter says.

If you could get it cheap enough it might pay to get it resprayed. As it is, the paint job looks O.K........ but they should have removed the glass to make a proper job of it. 
I can't seem to lift photo 115. Perhaps someone could give their opinion as to what is going on under the car.  |

Good call. I hadn't thought about that.
Of course, these cars are built like a tank. There is not usually a problem with the chassis ......the coachwork on the other hand can quietly rot away out of sight.  |

I didn't know the TD21 doors suffered like that. I still vow to have one ...but it would need to be a closed car; the convertibles are just silly money.
Mechanically, I would actually prefer the later models but I don't know if I could live with the twin headlights stacked on top of each other . Something that one could perhaps get used to?? Not a very elegant design in my view. |

Agreed on the closed version. Convertible is nice on a sporty car, you would want comfort on a bigger car.
The mechanical improvements of a TE or TF would not swing the scale for me, I could never get used to those twin headlights.

Another excellent report, Rich...much appreciated.!!
I couldn't make out the shield badge on the rear wing of that Ford Corsair. Was it GT? If it was the GT version then it would have been one of the rarest cars on the planet.
My Dad had a Corsair 1500 GT which he absolutely loved. It was unusual for him to voice an opinion about one of his cars but I do remember him saying it was a "cracker". I drove it a few times and with a twin choke Weber it went surprisingly quickly.
Unfortunately, my Brother took it on (when Dad bought a Cavalier) and the rest is history.
