This is a series of photographs of the factory in the late 40s or v early 50s.
Probably a fascinating journey for anyone who has worked in an engineering factory.
I was surprised at how much was actually made on site , they had their own casting and forging plants so there must have been little bought in except raw materials. Metals were probably bought in as billets rather than ore of course.

Somewhere I have a photo of the twin exhaust Villiers engine that my Dad installed in a Triumph frame for my Mum to use. That bike must have gone well because for the most part she was able to keep up with Dad on his Norton CS1. Surprised
