Looks like a very sound truck. I didn't know about the Plymouth / Dodge relationship until you mentioned it. I'd almost be tempted to take it back to the original blue but I realise it would be a mammoth task and probably impossible just to remove the light blue coat. The engine certainly sounds very sweet and the spot lamp is great. I see that turning on the head lamps switches off the side lamps.

Thanks Peter, yes it's a neat old truck. I think the lighter blue has been on it for most, if not all, of its life, and removing it would be an epic job. I'm happy to leave it as it is.

Today's addition is a collection of 105 photos of classic MG saloons, estates and hatches from the 1930s through to the early 2000s, now added into the following page within the main site's image archive.

Evening all, the recent snow gave us an opportunity to take a few photos with the white stuff, so the Dodge and R4CV came outside for a play.

A collection of photos taken in an amazing NZ scrapyard in the late 1970s forms today's upload, some great old Brit cars including many examples of the rare Singer SM1500 & Hunter.

Fettling a misbehaving speedo in the Dodge, and treating the Anglia to belated birthday bakelite, make up today's upload on YT.

Morning all, just a short one today - in 1995 I went with a friend to inspect the remains of a J-Type van in a field. With it were a wonderful 1920s Graham Bros pickup, a Series E, and a Gipsy.
Did any of them go on to be saved I wonder? It'd be such a shame if none survive, the pickup in particular was a thing of beauty.

I agree it would be a shame if those finds were not saved. The Graham Bros. was a sleeping beauty; was it not? I think the Morris van would also be a worthwhile restoration and possibly even a profitable one.

It looks very much like someone had tried to bite off more than they could chew.

Fast forward....are they still there ?

It'd be interesting to know, I can't quite remember where they were.

I know that feeling. Going back a good 15-20 years ago I was in France, somewhere west of Orleans, when I passed a compound surrounded by high wire fencing. Within that compound was dozens of 2CV Fourgonnettes (vans) mostly ex-poste de France. I have never been able to locate it since. Even spending hours looking on Google Earth and Street View has come to nowt.

Evening all, today's upload contains a lot of messing around with old cars, prior to - and after - attending the Crewe Heritage Centre meet last Sunday. We took the 4CV and MX5, and met dad there in his MGB.
There was an excellent turnout of cars. After we returned home, the Anglia was exhumed from the darker corners of the garage and given an airing. A good day all round really.

Hi, many British-sourced cars appear in today's upload, which is a collection of images captured in the 1970s and 1980s in New Zealand.
