That reminds me of a TV documentary years ago (made 1979ish?) called Mitchells Do Fly in IMC, where a group of slightly time-worn B25s were flown over the Atlantic for use over here in filming, I think "Hanover Street". I still have a copy taken from a VHS and burnt onto a DVD I think.
