Last weekend I popped along to the mighty Tatton Park classic car show after a gap of 13 years, I shouldn't leave it so long next time ...

Thanks for a nice selection of pre-war cars Rick.

Peter

p.s. With my anorak on I think the Bullnose at 6.25 is an Oxford rather than a Cowley. The Cowleys had 3 bolt wheel studs and the Oxfords had 5.

Hi Peter, I've always been of that impression too but I'm sure I have seen examples where it's not been the case, perhaps on very early examples I'm not sure!?!?

Or over the years parts from other vehicles were used to make repairs, don't forget that during the war and for many years later, spares for cars were in very short supply, so owners would use what ever they could get their hands on to execute repairs.

The Oxford with 5 stud wheels came later with the flat rad. All bullnose Morrises had 3 stud hubs; even the MG version of the Oxford as shown here...

Thanks Ray.

In today's video I visit the classic commercial vehicle show held in the grounds of the British Motor Museum at Gaydon. Many lorries were seen, as were some great old vans and a few very unusual cars.

Today's addition to the main site is a compilation of Herald and Vitesse photos, including saloons, estates, convertibles and coupes, plus a few one-offs and the four-door Herald.

Hi all, today's upload is us back at Avro Heritage for another classic car meet. Quite a few interesting cars turned up - including a maroon 4CV and an amazingly original Vespa 400.
In this upload I also included lengthy chats with the owners of a rare Rover P6 estate, an immaculate P4, a Citroen CX, and a DB5 that has been in the same ownership for 54 years.

Today's photo upload looks at the changing "face" of car interiors and dashboards over the years, featuring interior views of cars from the 1920s through to the 1970s.

Evening all, classic car i.d. quiz no.6 (cars of the 1970s) went live earlier today on the OCC channel, 60 cars in all to identify from heavily-cropped photos.

Last weekend we visited Oulton Park for the new "Autos de France" gathering, but not before visiting the general test day on the Friday beforehand. Footage from both days, which includes a look at various elderly French cars, conversations with the owners of a Citroen ID19 and a 4CV, other old cars spotted plus 2CV racing, make it into this upload.
