Sorry mate; I should have said it had been subject to a ?66K rebuild ...
As it happens, that 401 with the white faced instruments and matching controls is my favourite. The later engine is better but the early one with the right carbs and cam is probably just as good.
It is one of those "poster" cars that I have never driven. Probably better to keep it like that rather than be disappointed with the reality. |

I wonder why they are filling up with 2 gallon cans when there are three pumps handy?
Incidentally, I imagine the rare "Dominion" globe would be worth a pretty penny these days!! |
