Not motoring related!

I religiously point the TV/Sky remote at what ever device I want to change channel on or alter the volume....Its only just dawned on me that modern remotes, in many cases are now Bluetooth rather than infra red! so pointing them is "pointless"! Shocked

Trivia I know, but it made me chuckle! Smile

UK D; You have reminded me of the times when I used to try bouncing the signal off walls/windows etc.

Well, my fairly-new Toshiba can't be - I'm starting to get very frustrated about how close my aim has to be for everything except the power button. So frustrated, in fact, that I might try changing the batteries in case that helps.

Actually, a lot of the problem is that it seems to be very slow to respond to button presses, so I press the button again, and it turns out that it did "hear" the first press, so now it's gone past the thing I wanted on the menu and I have to go back.
