Good that it didn't cause damage. I recall talking about timing belts to a Ford garage mechanic. He told me that the long wheelbase 190 Transits had a non interference engine and because of that the cam belt was sometimes "missed" at a high milage service. The more common short wheelbase vans had an interference engine so the belt got changed regardless.
You can probably guess how - as a driver of a 190 - I discovered that! |

Today's video was fun to make, scouring northern France for exciting finds. We found stacks, from 2CVs and Amis to various Renaults (Juvaquatres, 4CV, 4s inc a Plein Air, 6, 5s etc), Peugeots (403 inc van, 504s, 301, 404 break), lorries military & civilian (inc a WW2 Dodge for sale at the side of a road), plus a car museum and a dealer in imported British classics from the USA. Also a number of project cars inc a rare Simca coupe.
