at a recent classic meet my friends have a moggy woody and said they just had a new clutch fitted, i was shocked at the 2 quotes she had.
1 was ?1200 the other was ?900, she went with the ?900 one as she needed it done soon.
a lot of garages said they would not do it and some said they could not do it.
i know garages have to make a profit but what could be easier than a moggy clutch i wonder?
the ?1200 quote said they would remove the engine and it would be a 10 hour job?

i once changed the clutch & gearbox on my bedford CF mk1 on my own in less than 1 hour without ramps and i not a trained mechanic.
no wonder the classic car would is reckoned to be worth a few bob!
